You are The Wheel of Fortune

Good fortune and happiness but sometimes a species of
intoxication with success

The Wheel of Fortune is all about big things, luck, change, fortune. Almost always good fortune. You are lucky in all things that you do and happy with the things that come to you. Be careful that success does not go to your head however. Sometimes luck can change.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

It appears that I am the same card as Rosie!
Yes I think we are quite alike not in looks or build but possibly in ways and temperment!!!

Tea for Two Kit from Indigo Mill

This is a page I have done with the Tea for Two kit from Indigo Mill
Included in the kit are -:
# 1 x Prima Tea and Silk – Nijo paper
# 1 x Vintage Pink Bazzill
# 1 x Brocade Bazzill
# ½ pack Heidi Swapp round mirrors
# ½ pack Jewel Brads
# Handful of Prima Blooms (pink / green
This is a kit which is for your truly special photos. We have used it for an old, and slightly sepia photo of my Mum and Dad's wedding back in the 50's, and it's just perfect. The tea and silk paper is gorgeous. Oriental in style, but not OTT, just that special touch needed for a more 'vintage' photo. The colours aren't normally those I would have considered for a wedding photo but I think they are very effective

One Down One to go!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I feel a lot happier today the first wedding has all gone now and it is this Friday 29th August in Norwich the dresses are all gone to their new homes now just 11 more to do for the 20th of Sept.
No seriously I have done 7 nearly but I have a little problem I have R.S.I in my right thumb so it is killing me especially as I aggravated it by using a punch and wow did that hurt.
Yesterday morning I could not even turn the key in the car ignition!!!!!!!

Saturday I went to see my darling grandchildren and my daughter and son-in-law (who skived off and went to watch Derby play football) so when the kids went to bed in the afternoon I scrapped a couple of pages for her using one of her new kits that will be available soon from www.Indigomill.co.uk

I don't know if they are available yet but keep watching.
The pictures of the pages will be uploaded soon.

Yahoo two crops in three days !!!!

Last week I did race for life I raised £125 and it was the first time I had done it.
I walked it as I am quite a large lady and it took us 63 mins which I did not think was too bad. My son pinched my t-shirt and went to the gym in it (the colour suits him as he is a lovely colour due to working outside all year)

Am I or am I not a BAD girl I went to the crop at Capture the Magic last night and tomorow I am going to the crop at Micklover in Derby run by my daughter.
I feel so wicked knowing I have a lot of work to do at home but hey what the hell I deserve a break!!!
Hubby is on nights so he will have to feed himself and get off to work so I will not see him now till Sunday morning the only down side is the drive as they are doing roadworks on the A52 between Grantham and Nottingham so I have to go via Melton Mowbray and it is a bit longer but I get to spend the day with my daughter

Great Barrier Reef

The first time we went here we took the kids who were 18 and 19 we could not believe the colour of the sea as where we come from (Norfolk) the water is always grey and muddy looking.
What a eye opener. I still have loads of pictures to scrap and hopefully this year will get even more!!!!!!!! Would love to take Daughter and her family this year but can not imagine flying 24hrs with a 2yr old and a 3yr old what a nightmare that could be!!!!

hello and welcome

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the web.
I stole the blog idea from my daughter who has a blog www.scrapbookingforthesoul.blogspot.com who is a Craft-Ed consultant in Derby.
I live in Norfolk work part time for the local NHS hospital as a seamstress and part time for myself at home.
I have a very understanding husband who gave me a workroom when our daughter moved out (only because I make money from it!!!!!!)
I have a son who still lives at home (obviously make it too good for him) two rough collies and my daughters cat Kiki.
Have been collecting stash for 3-4 years but have not always the time to do any scrap booking so have not done many pages. It actually started by making cards to sell at a steam fair that is held locally every year that was 4 years ago and progressed from there.
I have so many photos that I never look at and I think it is nice to have some journaling so that you remember things about them
